San Francisco, California Streamline Drywall partnered with JM Construction (GC) and Gelfand Partners Architects as a San Francisco–based union contractor on the 2nd and 3rd floor tenant improvement at 615 Grant Avenue — the Chinatown Community Development Center, located in the heart of the city's historic Chinatown corridor. This project reflects San Francisco's continued investment in renewing its existing building stock while creating durable, community-serving spaces that strengthen the character of one of its most enduring neighborhoods. The renovation focused on upgrading interior spaces to meet modern performance and finish standards, improving functionality while respecting the scale and urban context of the surrounding area. Streamline’s involvement ensured that the interior build-out was delivered with consistency, precision, and an understanding of the coordination required for work within a dense, active commercial district. Working as a local union partner, Streamline coordinated closely with project stakeholders to support schedule-driven construction and deliver high-quality interior systems that meet current codes, safety requirements, and tenant expectations.
The Chinatown Community Development Center project at 615 Grant Avenue highlights Streamline's role in delivering precision interior systems for community-anchored spaces in San Francisco's most historically significant neighborhoods. Partnered with JM Construction and guided by Gelfand Partners' design vision, Streamline is proud to contribute craftsmanship that serves both the building and the community it supports for years to come.
